A] Eric Cantona I thought him very inspirational.

A] People always ask me this, but I really don’t have one.
Which footballer do you most admire now, and why?
A] Zidane, because he is skilled on another level to everyone else.
What was your best footballing moment?
A] Debut for the USA and my debut for Huddersfield Town.
What car do you drive?
A] Golf V5
Do you have any pre-match suspicions or rituals?
A] I always have the same pre-match meal a large bowl of pasts, apart form that no.
Which teams have you played for in the past?
A] Manchester United and Bayern Leverkuson
Do you honestly think Town will get promotion this season?
A] Yes perhaps through the playoffs but automatic promotion is within reach now.
How did you like having Lou Macari as Manager?
A] No complaints he brought me in and gave me my chance.
The best thing about having Lou as a Manager?
A] You know you are fit with him.
What is his worst fault?
A] No comment
How do you like having Jo Jordan as a trainer?
A] Again he gave me my chance.
The best thing about having Jo as a trainer?
A] He has a lot of experience, as in with Italy, he knows some good sessions.
What is Jo’s worst fault?
A] No comment
Are you on the Internet? If so would you consider joining the Huddersfield Town list?
A] Possibly, I have had problems in the past with fans having my email address though. I always look at all the websites and Town’s website everyday.

1] Can you tell us about your past injuries?
A] Hamstring and Ankle.
2] Would you be willing to take a pay cut to stay at town? Or sign a contract that was more performance based than a simple standard basic wage?
A] Possibly it would depend on the circumstances. Yes I would.
3] Who has had the greatest effect on your footballing career?
A] Steve Kelly a scout and my agent.
4] Would failing to gain promotion this season have a major effect on your decision to stay at the club?
A] My contract is for three years whatever.
Have you got a message for the worldwide fans?
A] I want them all to know that they really make a difference. Your support never goes unnoticed by a player and helps to spurt us on.
I think John is a sweetheart. Very quietly spoken and polite. We did have a couple of problems with our different pronunciations with me saying 'you can tell you’re not from Yorkshire lad' but we managed eventually. By Jeanne Brown. |
