Huddersfield 2 - 2 Colchester League 1 16-04-2005Fowler: Garbage. His mere presence seemed to make everyone in the whole
team try to play for the killer pass every time they had the ball.
Clarke (T): A truly excellent prospect, and was faultless in the second
half, but did get skinned 3 or 4 times in the first. Clearly learned his
lesson over the course of the match, however.
Adams: Again, a good second half defensive performance, but I really
wasn't convinced with him in the first - thought that his dilly-dallying
was partly responsible for the lead up to their first goal. Would still
like to see a lot more of him.
Rabs: A couple of dodgy errors, however I couldn't criticise his kicking
from back passes as someone else did. Rarely have I had such confidence
in a goalkeepers ability to kick it first time. Only once do I remember
him punting it out of play, which is the typical reaction of 'keepers at
this level.
Colchester: The best team I've seen for a little while, so no shame to
"only manage a draw".
Town: Disappointing overall, but we came up against a good team and made
a couple of costly errors. The table doesn't lie, however and we're
still ahead of Bristol City! (The attendance table, of course.) By Will Shaw from the HTFC Mailing list. |
