Great night at Blackburn. the team did us proud and the support was brilliant.

The most frustrating thing was travelling. At 8pm kick off you would think leaving Huddersfield at 6pm would leave enough time but the damn motorway casued havoc to the masses of travelling fans.

We ended up coming off the motorway and heading to Bolton and up the A roads, good job i had Jonny B as Map man, Cheers fella.

Still we made it just in time for kick off and i was surprised to find Mendes on the team sheet , and nothing he did first half suggested he deserved a place. Good job Jacko realised his mistake and put Brandon for the 2nd half ,who put more effort into the first minute he was on the pitch chasing down lost causes, and winning throw ins, than Mendes did in the whole first half.

Obviously the main diffrence between the teams was Craig Bellamy , he might just keep them in the premiership (your having a laugh) but i wouldn't be surprised if we met Rovers again next season in the Championship.

McCombe had a real test last night deputising as 4th choice centre back behind Mirfin, Clarke T and Macca and it will have done him good to play against quality strikers.

Overall impressions were good , we had some good chances and were punished by a pacy attack. No complaints except the hand ball by Savage in the penalty area.
