We missed Worthington big time in midfield. We didn't have anybody with any bite. Pity Ahmed and Fowler are both out as either of them could have taken his place. When was the last time Carss delivered and sored from a good free kick? His corners aren't bad but his free kicks are awful this season. Wish Brandon would stay out wide - he roams all over the field and how many times yesterday was there nobody where he should have been! Adams, Mirfin and Carss had awful games; Clark had a poor first 15 minutes but improved. Holdsworth was too often left on his own down the right side as Brandon wasn't where he should have been. Thought Carss was lucky to just get a yellow card when he impeded their player who was running through. Abbott didn't have a good game.

At least we continued our scoring in every game sequence and we didn't lose! Bet the Welling scout was amazed at how easily Swindon went through our defence. We'll have to play a lot better next Sunday or else there's going to be a big Cup shock. By the way I heard on the radio that the Keighley march next Saturday has been called off but the three West Yorkshire games at Town, Bradford and Halifax are still going to be played on the Sunday.
