Todays match was quite enjoyable,some decent football played by the lads. Some good passing and movement.Boothy took his goals very well,first from an excellent corner direct on to his head from Scoffer,second a first time shot on the turn after he waited for the ball to be messed up by the centrehalf - Holdsworth an excellent goal to cap an excellent game. Scoffs showed how penalties should be taken.

Down side was an injury to Brandon,though I suspect it was bruising from the kick he got from the defender rather than any serious damage to his leg,(he said hopefully).

We also were sloppy defending their goal,but hey,it's one banana skin avoided,in the next round with opposition we should beat,then through to the big boys!

Welling showed very little in the way of football,though I thought Soloman at left back was worth a second look,they were good with their elbows though.....................ask Mirfin/Brandon
