Milton Keynes 2 - 2 Huddersfield League 1 06-12-2005Town blew the job of keeping the pace with Swansea by throwing away a 2 goal
lead, having 2 men sent off and a host of yellow cards meaning next Saturday
trip to ashton gate will mean at leat 3 enforced changed due to suspensions.
Danny Adams picked up his 5th yellow and serves his one match ban, Brandon
and Mirfin both collecting 2 yellows then reds and will both also be banned
for the game.
Mirfin for what seems a clumbsy late challenege and Brandon for an elbow
(stupidly) and he also saw red.
Town, 2-0 nil after goals from Abbott and Booth seemed to be cruising until
3 a crazy finale where in the space of 3 minutes, Town had thrown away the
chance and looked like loosing the match that they were in control for much
of.
Having said that, Town piled on the pressure and should have snatched a late
winner, Worthington having the last and best chance before hitting the post
with his shot in an amazing final period.
Not sure if Town had tired legs, and maybe Jacko should have brought on some
fresh ones, it was Adams who was lucky not to see red and gave away the free
kick which sparked the MKD revival.
Although Bristol City are really struggling, it will still be a tough test
for test for the Terriers, but 3 points are no badly needed after this slip
up
Bradon was playing on the left followin Danny Schofields red card on Sunday,
GTF on the right where Im sure he will stay and Schoffa will surely come
back onto the left.
Tom Clarke would probably have played on the left side of defence but what
now? Maybe McCombe will have to come into the defence unless Mcintosh will
be fit.
