Great result, even if we rode our luck at times early in the first half.We have had games earlier in the season which we have lost and drawn where we were better than the opposition so lets enjoy the moment.

The real outstanding player today was GTF who had IMHO his best game yet, looked full of running and trickery, lets hope this continues. Senior is,despite the clean sheet, not big or good enough and that showed up today on a couple of occasions, kicking was poor as well. MacIntosh doesn't dominate as much as someone his size should do. Mirfin was excellent + would be my first choice right back on Tuesday - he linked very well with Gtf and subdued Yeates (+ anyone else who went near) Clarke made some good interventions +had a reasonable game. Dan Smith - retained the ball well, not sure about him yet,but he has some pace which Adams is not blessed with Worthy made some telling tackles +covered a lot of ground in the cause, similarly Collins.Though we didn't seem to pick up the balls coming out of their box. Brandon was Brandon, went inside a lot and at times caused us to lose our shape - once near the end when they nearly got through the middle because Collins had been pulled over to cover for Brandon being MIA. Boothy battled very hard against a tough defence, would probably been subbed at 2-0 to rest for Tuesday, but we needed his height at both end. Graham - took his goal very well - very intelligent footballer - one ball laid off for Mirfin would have left Mirf well clear if he'd pushed on,which he chased down + got,but would have been in a better position.

All in all a very good entertaining match - no complaints about the ref either - for once
