Huddersfield 2 - 1 Bristol City
League 1

I thoroughly enjoyed the game today, good performance, good first goal and great result.A lot of good passing - which drew a little frustrated booing from the usual miserable gits :-)

Pav was back to his old self, bristling with confidence again anf adding a lot of unselfish off the ball running and tackling back to his game.

Becketts goal was a gem,I knew it would go in when he picked the ball up and turned, similar to the one V Blackpool when he was here last time.He will get 20+ this year provided he stays fit. The two worked well today - that aspectwas encouraging.

Glennon looks to be the answer to the longstanding keeper problem we have had.Another convincing performance.

Back four looked comfortable for most of the game.Mirfin and Clarke played well in he centre against adangerous pair up front for Bristol and coped well.

Second half saw more shots on goal which was encouraging.

Brandon had an in and out game, early doors he did some brilliant work turning defenders and frightening them with his pace. The challenge for Jacko is how we can get him to use it more and add an end result.

GTF is getting better and better, definitely 50% improvement in him from last year. Worthington also had a better game and ran in to some good positions.I firmly believe wea re better with him than with him out of the team, but don't think he is a captain.

Finally, the off field entertainment,Jacko doing his dwarf throwing with the opposition managers sons - priceless!!! (and fairly stupid)
