Huddersfield 1 - 1 Scunthorpe League 1 04-11-2006Joe Skarz was excellent for 80 minutes, but looked knackered at the end, and got passed by the winger several times. Clarke was mostly good but wandered out of position from time to time, and you always had the feeling he was only a moment away from losing concentration altogether. Worthington worked tremendously hard and thoroughly deserved his standing ovation when he came off injured in injury time. An entertaining game - either side could have won, but miles better than last week.
As for only one up front - it was more successful than 4-4-2 last week. But our midfield did not push on enough for Boothy's knockdowns or flick-ons. Do we train for that? If not, what do we do in training? By David Dean from the HTFC mailing list. |
