Millwall 0 - 0 Huddersfield
League 1

Well - set off at 2 pm with a 30 minute Motorway stop and missed the first quarter of an hour as we finally got into the ground at 8 pm!! The traffic by the Blackwall Tunnel was horrendous. The police were supposed to meet the coach and give us an escort to the ground but no sign of them and then, when we eventually pulled up in front of the ground, instead of letting us all get off they sent us round the back down an unlit road and we had to pull up as there was a bridge in front which was too low for the bus so we had to reverse all the way back up and they sent us into another parking spot. Then, of course, they had to frisk everyone before they'd let us through the turnstiles. What a shower!

The match - not very good. Boothy up front on his own again. Heard Jacko's post-match comments on the radio this morning and he was very pleased that we had got a point and kept a clean sheet even though the match wasn't very good to watch. You can say that again! What I saw of the first half wasn't too bad and I couldn't decide if Millwall's defence was very poor or we were playing better than we have been lately. I think the former! But why we had a goal disallowed was a mystery. The second half was very poor and if Jacko picks Adams ahead of Skarz he needs his head looking at. Both he and Holdsworth (what has happened to Andy - he isn't half the player he used to be?) were very poor. Hudson wasn't much better and Brandon did his usual running round like a headless chicken but he should have scored in the second half but shot well wide. Mirfin kicked a Millwall effort off the line and it was a good job that they couldn't finish as they had numerous chances. Worthington and Booth tried hard but most of the others seemed to lack any passion. Substitutions - why is it that Jacko can't make any substitutions till it's too late to make any difference? Think he brought Schofield and Young on with just a few minutes left on the clock. Bet Beckett is well cheesed off.

Got to bed just before 3 am. Am going to Leyton Orient on Saturday too. Do I need my head looking at?? :-)
